Healthcare Careers in Ayrshire & Arran Event
Thursday 11 June, 4-7pm

Join us along with NHS Ayrshire & Arran for an interactive careers event showcasing the diverse range of roles that keep our health service moving, from frontline clinical practice to essential non鈥慶linical professions. Whether you're a school pupil, student, parent, teacher or someone exploring a new direction, this event is designed to open the door to the wide and exciting world of healthcare careers.
Funding your studies
If you are ordinarily resident in Scotland, you may be eligible to receive 拢10,000 worth of funding in each of the first three years of your BSc programme, and 拢7,500 if you study an honours year, for tuition and living costs.
This funding is available through the Paramedic, Nursing and Midwifery student bursary scheme (PNMSB) which comes from the Scottish Government Health Directorate but is administered by the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS).

All our campuses are equipped with state-of-the-art clinical simulation facilities and contemporary healthcare technologies to replicate the provision of care across a person鈥檚 lifespan in hospital, primary care and domestic environments.
Investment in the Domus Initiative 鈥� a simulated home life environment 鈥� provides students with experience of caring for older people living with dementia.
Our Lanarkshire Campus鈥檚 birthing room, complete with maternal simulator and birthing pool, allows you to develop knowledge of good practice in a safe, supportive and authentic environment.
